MAY 2-3-4 OF 09 .spring is here at last . water temp out off buffalo n.y is holding at 49 .lake erie water is stained to clear in spots. smallmouth are starting to move into the shallow areas that ,are around deep water. rocky points ,flats ,gravel areas are were you are going to find nice smallies. look for creek mouths that flow into the lake .that water tends to be a little warmer . tube baits along with live bait will produce some big smallmouth .jerk baits, as the sun comes up and warms the rocks you can get a jerk bait bite going . the last three days on the lake have been good . lots off mid three to low four lb fish being caught . your bigger fish are in the low five to mid five, with some six pound slobs being caught . spring time is the chance to catch the next state record . july threw late october is also great fishing on erie out off buffalo ny. with muskies and some large mouth bass in the mighty niagara river .you can fish for those also .let ,captain TIM BRAUN show you how to put some nice smallmouth in the boat . book a trip with BRAUNS OUTDOORS BASS CHARTERS,YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID
