Fished Conesus in mid week and managed a bunch of nice smallmouth bass. One pike about 7-8 pounds and a few largemouth. Water temp. was 57.4 and rose to 60 during a hot day. Saturday the water temp. started out at 60 with overcast skies and gradually got sunny and warm. Several lm and sm bass were fooled by a melon pepper tube. Several sm were starting to make beds.
Sunday on Honeoye,http://mudlines.com a shower passed through about 6 in the morning and it stayed overcast. Water temperatures are anywhere from the mid to high 60's. Later in the day it turned sunny and most of the bass were caught on Zoom finesse worms rigged wacky. Lots of bass were caught but for Honeoye it was a slow day. A combination of cold fronts and the fish spawning made you work a little harder. Panfish are moving shallow and very aggressive. Some walleye are shallow in the evening and at night.
