we fished Sun/Mon in the Dip and Hudson. Had 60-70 run offs with only about 10 keepers. Plenty of fish and all were multiple hookups. Water was about 3-4 degrees cooler then all the SST's I saw and what my raymarine feed was showing but tons of life. Mostly small yellows 25 pounds and under. Some skippies and mahi as well. Didn't hear of any fish over 40 and no marlin. If you want to bend a rod and catch tuna they are there. The bigger yellows (25 pounds) were mixed in with the skippies. We had fish from 5 miles short of the dip to the west wall of the hudson. Hudson produced the best, both 100 sq and the SW corner. Warmest water we found was between the Dip and 100 sq, 71.5. Only a blue shark at night.
Forgot to mention that green worked during the late morning and afternoon but evening and morning purple and black were the ticket. they took anything from small jets to big bars.
Didn't hear anything done in the dip or the tails.
