The weather has fooled the bass all spring. Just when the water starts to warm, we get cold fronts and the temperature nose dives.
Honeoye is between 67 and 72 degrees. Cooler in the morning and warming during the day. Fishing was very good Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. No large fish, but good numbers.
Seneca Lake was very cold on June 25th, but has bounced back and is starting to warm. The smallmouth are hitting.
Fish have been hitting Bass Pro stickos in watermelon or green pumpkin. A few trick worms have also taken their share.
Off to Conesus in the next few days. Reports from fellow anglers indicate good and bad results. Watch for more info.
