Several trips on Honeoye Lake this week have resulted in very good fishing. Bass have been hitting Bass Pro Stikos in watermelon seed and Zoom trick worms in the Kudzu color. Some panfish are shallow but the high concentrations are deeper. Watch for the boats and pick a spot.
Conesus was very good on Thursday in the rain. Boat traffic was low and so were the light conditions. Bass were hitting watermelon stikos and the Casper brothers put 18 in the boat. All were released.
Cayuga was a little slow on July 18 but some nice bass were caught at the north end. They fell for a mix of baits and most fish were shallow.
