Hi, I've been coming up to the Weleslsy Island State park for a few years now and I'd like to get some help about the area. I want to small mouth bass fish in the first week of October. I usually rent a skiff from the state park and do well in August but have never fished there in October. What can I expect weather and fishing wise ? Would I be better off with a guide or do my own thing on a rental ? How should I fish for the smallies, like I do with worms on the bottom in 30 - 40 feet or should I employ new tactcs ? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Larry
