The water temperature has dropped to the low to mid 50's and the fish have reacted to the drop. Use a slow presentation, deadstick your bait and the fish will pick it up.
We managed to catch quite a few on lipless crankbaits last weekend. Color was gold and green similar to a baby bass or perch. A nice walleye also fell for the crankbait and was Sunday dinner.
We are winterizing some boats and packing tackle in another to winter over in Florida. Will be sending some fishing reports from the Sunshine State soon.
Remember, new regulations will require you to wear a life jacket while on the water, I believe from 11/1 through Apr. 30. It is a good policy to always wear one when the gas engine is operating.
