It is difficult not to write in hyperbole when talking about going out fishing with Frank. A female friend and I had the pleasure of spending 4 days (24 hours) on the water with him this week taking his bass fishing seminar. We had so, so much fun and learned immeasurable fishing skills that we will be able to apply for the rest of our lives. Frank is a consummate professional in all ways: prompt, prepared, friendly, and professional. He is willing to answer any question and is always patient when we mess things up. It is my heartfelt pleasure to recommend his guided service. Rest assured, it is a life changing experience. Thank you Frank!! - Bob Deak, Burke VA
Tom and Tommy fished with me Friday on Canandaigua but the water was to high to launch at Woodville so we went out of the north end. Pickerel were very active on spinnerbaits along with several panfish. We did manage a few smaller largemouth at the northern end of the lake.
The bass are biting good on Honeoye but it appears that many are post spawn. We caught 50-60 bass with most coming on a wacky rig or dropshot. Monday the rain started as soon as we hit the water and it was still raining last night. The bass seem to be moving between 8 and 12 feet of water. Match your bait with the water color as it is always changing. Water color has ranged from clear to muddy to having a large amount of algae.
