Posted by Lance From 1958-8/71, the hood trip consisted of a chrome strip that covered the front half of the hood split. Finding these pieces in undamaged condition is pretty difficult. Lance

Starting 9/71 (1972 model), FJ40s had one piece hoods. If your FJ40 was made 9/72-12/72, and it has a two piece hood, chances are that it's not the original hood.
