Hey, no problem on the response time, I was on vacation last week anyway,lol. I am in mid California (Vacaville). I'm not sure what the original design of my tire carrier was, but I know it has the hinge sockets on the pass. side, and the latch hook is toward the center of the tailgate, which is the one piece folding down design, not the split gate. I will try to call you this weekend if time allows.
