Just wanted to pass on a recent experience with Summit Racing. I ordered a 28,000 btu heater for the Cruiser and when it arrived the 3 position switch was damaged. I called, no problem, they issued a call tag for UPS and would send out the last one they had on the shelf. The following day the same rep called me back to say he had inspected the one they were about to ship and it too was damaged. He offered a 20% discount on any other heater plus free overnight shipping.
The customer service rep (Duke) that I talked to on my first call was the one that inspected the second heater, called me back and made the deal right. He also remembered that I was a little short on time, needing to get it installed by this weekend and made sure that it was here on time. That level of customer service is increasingly hard to find in the dot com world we live in. What could have become a huge hassel was corrected and made right with so little extra effort!
