I am selling the motor out of my FJ40.Mileage unknown.It is kind of a combination of a 70 model F motor and a 76 model 2F,with the majority of it being the F.The block,head and all internals are F motor,but the intake/exhaust manifolds,valve cover and distributor are 2F pieces.It has a rod-linkage 38MM Weber,a GM alternator and GM power steering pump on a kind of home-made bracket that's not the prettiest but works well.It uses a little oil and tends to foul the plugs a little about every 5th time I drive it,which may just be my lack of experience with Webers.No real oil leaks to speak of and is still a pretty good running motor.The only reason I'm selling it is to put in a V8.I,m probably not going to actually pull the motor until I have a buyer in case someone wants to hear it run.Not real sure how much to ask--the carb alone was $300+,but I know a lot of people don't like Webers.So for now I'll just see what kind of offers I get and go from there.I can usually be reached at 405-799-1342.Please make me an offer!
