Posted by Slowpoke Mechanically this should be an easy swap. The 3.4L engine should bolt up to your trany and engine mounts in place of the 3.0L. The fuel injection and engine electronics are were it will take more work. You will need the entire engine wiring harness all the way to computer (the ECU) and the computer from the donor truck. To get it all hooked by yourself, you'll need the electrical diagrams for both trucks. Then it just takes time to fallow each circuit and connect them. If you don't like doing this kind of work? Then try to find a shop in your area that does automotive electrical work or fuel injection work. They should be able to do the electrical work for you. If you want a shop to do the complete swap for you. Then most 4x4 shops can do this work. Just ask questions before having a shop start the job. That way you'll know if they can do the complete job. For example, some shops can do the mechanical and fabrication work but not the electrical. I know that Sam's Off Road in Tulsa, OK can do the complete job. But having a shop do it right, is not cheap. And, having a shop do it wrong costs a lot more. Good luck with your build up! Later, Slowpoke
