Howdy, I am mid project on this conversion, and have a mech friend doing most of the work, I am just support. We have the drivers and claipers reassembled using FJ60 parts, it went pretty well. But I have 2 questions:
1.) the caliper outlets are pointing to the back of the vehicle, and this is kinda unhandy, will have to have new brake hoses made, but wonder if it is ok to make a 90 degree turn in the hose, will that weaken the hoses.
2.) Want to use the brake booster from the FJ60 also but the after market price of the adapter is a bit prohibitive for me right now, I have heard it is not to difficult to make, anyone already done this or have pic or plans, or instructions on how to make one? Would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks Kelly
