Posted by Jody on 3/10/2004, 10:51 am The one we've owned for the shortest time needs to go. I've only begun to work on this build-up, so anyone who wants to build an 80 series trail/expedition rig will have an excellent place to start with this one. Here's the specs: 1993 FZJ80, Charcoal with grey leather interior, no running boards but has Toyota mud flaps. 266,000 miles -- Don't let this deter you, this is a strong running truck and is my daily driver. Does not leak oil, runs and drives like new. I bought it with 245k and have done nothing but regular mainteance to it! OME 850/863 (heavy) lift with caster correction bushings and OME shocks installed. 5 new 285/75/16 (33")Kelly-Springfield Safari MSR tires with < 5000 miles on them! These are agressive A/T tires. Very quiet on the road and very good performers off-road. I haven't wheeled "these" tires, but have a set on my FJ40 with extensive off-road use. Slee Offroad transfer case skid plate installed. Center difflock switch installed. New Old Man Emu Steering Stabilizer. Nakamichi CD35 stereo with pocket underneath and JBL Power Series speakers in the doors. Careful maintenance has been performed by me personally. Recent maintenance includes: Front diff, rear diff and transfer case had their 90w gear oil replaced. The only minor body damage is to the passenger front fender flare. It is cracked where someone backed into it in the dealer lot before I bought it. I was planning on removing the flares anyhow, but a new flare can be had realtively inexpensively. Otherwise no rust and no damage. This rig has NEVER been off-road. I haven't had time yet! Everything works and is solid. I'm asking $9750. Detail pics available upon request. I'll post some wtih the FOR SALE ad on this site. Call me anytime at 405.323.7663 for more info. I am located in Edmond, OK.
