My FJ came w/31's, which I would like to keep....and the tub is in excellent condition. I know the clutch needs some attention...It isn't slipping, but It doesn't appear to have much left. The F motor has good compression, and runs great for a vehicle that sat for 1 year. I would also like to convert to electronic ignition, is there a drop in electronic conversion for my 6? I have done an HEI upgrade in my 62 chevy II...just wondering what option's are out there on electronic conversations? If I do a shackle reversal, do I need popeye arms to drive daily? I would like my FJ to be my daily driver...keeping 31's, as well as off-road capabilities. switch to 3.70 diffs and keeping 3spd? Thank you for the sound advise,

It does have some rust in the bottom rear corners, I am told this is very common in FJ's.
I am thinking of having a shop replace bad sheet-metal, and possibly cover corners w/diamond plate.
I will try bleeding the clutch first, I don't think there is any adjustment at the slave cylinder?
It has a Holley carb, with small air-filter...Is it possible to adapt the stock Toyota filter onto this carb?
keep 4.11's and perform an H55F 5spd (transfer case) install?
keep 4.11's and install 4spd w/33's?
Can I have the cake and eat it too?
