hi, i was wondering if i could have some ideas about a case i just saw. An 18 year old came to me, post-op (gunshot case), thru the neck, presently successful surgery..except some laceration and edema on the vocal folds and clinically presents with low loudness and severe hoarsness. how long should i wait before i begin therapy...and has anyone seen something like this before....any tips?
