I've just begun working with a 21 month old boy with motor delays. He says "mama" and "more" and is otherwise barely vocal-some squeals, laughs, and babbles-but not much. I want to work on vocal play, and have used most of my bag of tricks-echo mics, toobaloos, vocalizing into tubes, hide and seek calls, and I cant get this kid to vocalize much. Any ideas? He gets OT and PT, and I'm trying to use bubble hierarchy but he wont let me near his lips with the bubble wand. I tried a Z-vibe today, and he LOVED it, but not much vocal action....
