I am also struggling with what to do with two tongue thrusters that parents wanted me to listen to. One is in the third grade, and has a slight one on s, z, and s blends. The other is in kindergarten, and has it on the sibilant sounds. It does not effect intelligibility or performance in the classroom. there is a dentist in the area that will refer for tongue thrust, so I gave them his name, but one asked if I would do private therapy or just send home exercises with her. I have the tongue thrust book, but want to look at Swallow Right-has anyone has success with that? What do you guys do in these situations. I try to imagine myself in these parents places, and I would want whatever help I could get, but I am not finding much. Thanks for any advice, Michelle
