I have used talk tools with some clients. Currently i am using them with an 8 year old with cleft lip and palate. For him they have been extremely useful in regard to motivation, reducing saliva pooling in his mouth and teaching oral nasal contrasts. There are some good ideas about how to elicit sounds in the program. However i am still unsure about the benefits for articulation therapy in the absence of decreased range of movement of articulators.
