Wow! An hour each time? I am also in the school setting and see most of my students for 1/2 an hour twice per week. That would not work for me either. Are they exercises that can be sent home with the child to work on with their parents? Don't they break down the exercises into specifics for each sound. Honestly, I am not a real advocate of oral-motor and have never used it but the SLP I work with STRONGLY believes in it and is passing on her opinions to the teachers.
