Posted by kwarner He is able to understand and he can produce the /p/ and /b/ by stopping the sound on the lips easily(he has some nasal emission as well because of the clefts; but rarely looses any food out the nose); however, I need more ideas on how to carry this over. Any suggestions of techniques or resources would be greatly appreciated!

I have a 4-yr-old student who has 2 small maxillary clefts (He has cleft palate and cleft lip repairs except for the maxillary clefts.)
He produces his bilabial stops with stops produced further back in the mouth--it doesn't sound like they are as far back as glottal stops.
