AOS is a very frustrating task to work with for the client, but when you find the window that works, you can do wonders.

I worked recently with a child with developmental AOS. if you can, get ahold of Nancy Kaufman's Apraxia of Speech program. What worked for me and my client was using scaffolding techniques, building to longer utterances from somthing he was successful with, such as: win... window.... windowpane.
