Please Help!!!
I am working with a preschool boy who demonstrates irregular intonation and prosody within words and in sentences. He drastically changes intonation from high to low within a two syllable word. He will also prolong final sounds in words or add the schwa vowel to open syllables. I have tried having him imitate my voice and having him tap out words within sentences with me to establish better rhythm, but I still don't feel like I'm helping him. Any suggestions?
