Please Help!!
I am working with a preschool boy whose speech has characteristics of unusual intonation and prosody. He drastically varies his intonation in two syllable words and will either prolong the final sound of a single syllable word or add the schwa vowel to open syllables. I have tried having him imitate my voice and intonation in phrases and having him tap out words within sentences to improve his rhythm. Any suggestions??? Thank you!
