I came across your comments while researching this issue. I've noticed my husband says entire phrases and sometimes repeats them under his breath (apparently unaware his doing it) and recently, I noticed my very outspoken 3 1/2 year old is doing the same. He does not have any developmental problems at all, except for being a very strong willed child. I also have a 8 1/2 yr old who is completely normal and has not shown this behavior. Has anyone heard whether this is hereditary?
