FYI on speech sound development. The r is expected to appear anywhere from age 3 to a little past 7, so it's great that he has that sound. L comes in about the same time and is usually in place by age 6. Because he produces it sometimes, I would not get too stressed by l to w slip; l will come. The s may fall into place anywhere from 3 to 8, so is one of the later developing sounds. The th(in think)from age 4 to 7, while the th (this) from 4 to 8. Developmental sound charts may vary some, but there is a wide range of ages where individual sounds are expected. I seriously doubt the need for fake teeth. Would suggest you continue to model the sound appropriately, but be aware that if the mouth is not quite ready when we think it ought to be, that does not mean it's not going to get there at all. Also, be sure he can distinguish correct and incorrect production.
