I will be evaluating a 14 year old girl with Cerebral Palsy. I have never worked with a student with cerebral palsy and am unsure what I should do for the assessment. Should I do a motor speech assessment? Give the GFTA? Should I do language testing as well and would the CASL be appropriate? This girl is verbal. Her mother said she mostly has difficulty with breath support, rate of speech, and clear articulation. Any ideas for assessment and treatment for this girl would be wonderful!
