My child still can hardly talk like a normal kid. He mainly parrots but that is all.
I am now beginning to think the article in 'The Australian Womans Day' (September or October) magazine which featured a mother who successfully cured her 6 year old daughter with some mycelin drugs and ingredients commonly found in supermarkets, was a sensationalist piece of work! I written several times to that magazine publisher at acpmagazines pty ltd and have yet to receive any reply.
All the speech therapists did very little if any. I think alot got to do with age and also how parents take an active role in being very patient in teaching their own kids and also trying GFCF diet, etc.
Note that I also discover that a few of highly negative comments written against Ms Jenny McCarthy (on her autistic son experience) are written mischievously by competitors or people whom she had criticize (for example, vaccine manufacturers and marketing players).
I truly hope that there will be some cure the children who are autistic or can't talk some day.
