I have as a client a 12 year old girl with cognitive delays who devoices /z,v,th/ sounds. I've tried to talk to her about "turning on" and "turning off" her voice for making these sounds (we've mostly done /z/ so far), including having her hold her fingers against her larynx, with no success. Any other ideas out there for teaching voicing or vocal fold control?? Thanks in advance for any advice!!
