I'd suggest attempting to identify the kinds of abuse/misuse that have contributed to the formation of the nodules. Things such as talking in a loud voice with too much force, talking in noisy situations, and talking too much...Moya Andrews's books are good sources (with kid friendly pictures and diagrams)for targeting these abusive speaking patterns in children.
