Sometimes having the child produce the "sh" with a smaller spoon in their mouth to help create the the correct tongue and lip configurations to produce a more clear "sh". Also, co-articulation if they have a good or close to good final /s/ followed by "you", "bus you", "kiss you", "miss you". Say them fast, and the /s/ becomes a "sh".
