I have a 4 year old that has the backing pattern . It affects /t/, /k/, /s/ etc. I need some oral motor exercises that will help me get him not to use whole tongue on palate for /t/ . /s/ althoug not devolopmentally appropriate sounds like /g/ which hurts intelligibility. Most frontal attempts are sounding like glottal. I have gotten a good /t/ in isolation . /f/ is getting better at word level . Added to that is he has trouble attending and focusing on mirror and oral motor activities. He has to play a while then maybe get him to look at you for a minute of modeling. Peanut butter activity helped with /t/ and /d/. I asked parents to work on auditory bombardment. Online activities are usually geared to fronting problems. I haven't seen a lot of practice items on computer for backing. Thanks for your help.
