I have a child new to my caseload who has nasal assimilation (only hypernasal with sounds surrounding nasal sounds) and excessive forward tongue posturing that is affecting her vocal quality, resulting in a thin/babyish quality. Perception when she speaks is that her pitch is too high, but that is not the case. It is all due to vocal quality. Any therapy ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!! I'm at a loss! shauna
