This is called 'echolalia'. There is both immediate and delayed echolalia. When it is something repeated from a tv show or commercial, etc, it is often referred to as 'scripting'. This is very common in those who fall under developmental disorder categories such as Autism, PDD-NOS, Communication disorders, and other autistic spectrum disorders. It is a form of 'stimming', and in this case, it is a self-stimulation concentrated vocally. Further evaluation should be in order if there are other oddities or behaviors not deemed normal or age appropriate and especially if there are other notable delays with speech or social interactions.
