The dentist says my son has "tounge thrust" however all the posts Ive read here, none apply to him. He is 6 and his only issue is he has trouble saying his "L" and "R" letters in words. Occasionally his tounge goes forward saying some words but for the most part it doesnt happen. I have no problems brushing his teeth, he never gags and swollows without problem. He had speech therapy a couple of years ago cause he had cronic ear infections. Now his hearing is perfect and his speech has improved greatly over time. I guess Im just confused as to what the big deal is...
