Thanks for not showing me the protest. You wouldnt show me then and i am sure i wont see it now.
You never once asked to see it when we were talking, otherwiose I would have been more than happy to show it to you.
Good way to run a race real fair. You know if you would have threw the green and not looking at the stands none of this would have happened.
You did not see what was going on behind you but 2 cars were turned into the turn 2 wall and we had to throw the red.
All I want is some straight answers with the proof you suposely have.
If i do not back my officials, whats teh point in having them? I gave you straight answers at the track. We did not beat around the bush or anything.
Also I didn't have ant pit memebers that night. If you look at the sign in sheet no one was with me that night. I have no idea who you guys think touched my car. No one ever touched my car.
Once again, multiple officials saw and spojke with those 2 individuals on the track who were working on your car and also a third official whom they asked for a wrench to go fix it. Each of which were told that they could not touch your car, NOR be on the track.
I finished the race with my fender rubbing the tire. My fender was never pulled by no one.
The officials said it was, the protest was filed. It was done properly and in a timely manner. All the officials met me on the front stretch to talk about the protest and it was found that track rules and event rules were violated. As far as how a protest is to be carried out... I explained clearly how that is to be done at the pit meeting. This track has never had a protest rule other than the mechanical protest. However, this race had a protest rule where $50 must be put up and it must be done in writing and with respect to the officials. All of these happened properly. I am sorry. If you have any further questions feel free to email me. There is nothing more that can be done at this point and time. I realize that you may not like the asnwer that has been given but there is nothing more i can do or say. I must back my officials at all times. Without these people, it would be much worse.
