Steve and I cannot begin to express our gratitude to all of those involved in today's race. It is amazing to witness so many people pull together in order to support a man who many of them have not even had the opportunity to meet!
Kelli, thank you for setting this all in motion and giving so much of your time to ensure it was a success!
Tre, the stickers and banner were a perfect way to honor Shaggs! I know this will help in his healing process!
To all the other members of UCS, thank you for your time and dedication. You took us all in as if we were a part of your family! We will never forget this experience!
To the drivers, thank you for traveling from all parts of New Mexico to participate. The racing was fantastic and we know the time and effort you took to be a part of this event! You are all a class act!
To the fans, thank you for supporting the drivers and enduring the cold on your Saturday! We appreciate each and everyone of you!
Last but not least, thank you for all the generous donations! The holiday season is right around the corner and I realize the sacrifices you are making to help the Chavez family! You are all a blessing to this world and the reason we still have faith in humanity.
It was an honor to be in your presence!
