Well in this case I have to argue with you, I raced at UCS for most of 2009 and all of 2010, I was never "Hometowned" there, I only had one issue as a matter of fact in which the establishment protected me against the bias flagman and if it wasn't for my own stupidity and temper I would have been fine. As for liable, I can't argue with you there because I am not a lawyer. As for an ambulance, they had one both years at nearly every race the few times they didn’t it was just because they were called out, however both the fire department and the ambulance were usually both there, again unless they were called out, which was rare. UCS has come along way from the track of old, with improvements being made regularly. Now as for the good payouts, coming from a former board member, they are good for four reasons 1: No one but the drivers get paid, everyone who works there is a volunteer 2: Payout is based on car count, so the class with the most cars wins the most money 3: The track pays off the back gate, you know where the drivers come from, they see it as the tracks responsibility to bring in fans and the drivers to bring the cars 4: They don’t have anyone trying to make a mint off of the races for their own pocket, everyone is in it together, to help everyone continue to have a place to race. Now you are right about the people just wanting you to bring your money, but those are a select group of drivers, not the board, not the fans, that select group would be happy to go back to the way it used to be where it was only locals, but that is not the consensus from everyone. And finally in 2010 UCS did have insurance. No worries though I am not going to try to fight you.
