To the NAPA Speedway staff, great job trying to keep moisture in the mud with the strong wind, the track almost made it without the Dust Tornado in our faces, thank god the wind blew east all night but as always, I had my Dust goggles ready for just in case. 1 semi-sore note, I did not see any warning's on this board about the Dirt Ticket both not being in operation and using the Asphalt's ticket building, some heads-up would have been good, we drove over to the Asphalt ticket booth, bought out tickets and the Courtesy Shuttle was there, instead of walking a 1/2 mile to the track, we rode with the not too happy driver to the Dirt gate entrance, we said Thank You and received a look that said "are you off my Bus yet", then we enjoyed a great evening of racing. Although the Mini-Sprints did provide the extra time out from action, maybe not adding them to an already Full race schedule would have gotten us out sooner. Then when the Street Stock finished trading paint & parts for 1 heck of a final race, we had to walk to the Asphalt track because apparently the Shuttle/Driver had enough for the night. On my part, I'm taking advantage of the Ticket ordering system to avoid doing the Shuttle for the Sprint show in 2 weeks.
