Last year NMMRA put on a Race at SANDIA SPEEDWAY & #16 Tom "T" Ball became the 1st Sprinter to Win a Feature at the Dirt Track. This past Sat. night #16 Ball took an early Lead in the NAPA SPEEDWAY - NMMRA Opener 25 Lap Feature & shoed his NAPA/LEONARD TIRE ride to the Checker over #19 Ronnie Smith, #62 Bill Mitchell, #2 Stephen Nix, #4L Kristy Smith, #6 Michael Marfia, #93 Jon Taylor, #13 Glen Brace and Rookie #24r Clay Gossett. 360 Spins, flat tires, etc. depleted the remaining field of 18. Our 1st Heat had #22 Jesse Baker winning from Mitchell, Taylor and #26 Randy Smith. Tucson, AZ's Cody Cambensy wired the 2nd Heat over Nix, #7 Jason Tanner and Ball. TOP 10 in Points -- #16 Ball - 161, #19 Ronnie Smith - 151, #2 Nix - 148, #62 Mitchell - 138, #7 Tanner - 126, #93 Taylor - 116, #22m Jesse Baker - 114, #26 Randy Smith - 109, #22b Bo Baker - 98 and #57 Austin Mansfield 85 Points.
