Dusty "Uncle Duck" is doing well, all things considered. He has been cleared by the Neuroscience ICU team for another surgery. This time the focus will be on his badly broken pelvis, then possibly depending on how that goes they may work on his left leg. He is third in line and that’s all we know right now, we don’t know if they have started on patient number two yet or not, so here we are waiting again. We are all very happy that his progress has moved a long to the point of Orthopedic surgery. They are not giving us much more info than that right now but, his body swelling has went down a lot, his brain pressure is stabilizing, as is his blood pressure, which still fluctuates from time to time. This is still a critical time for him, as surgery could reverse all the positives we have seen thus far. We have full faith in his team of doctors that they would not go forward with a procedure if he wasn’t physically ready for it. These things keep our faith locked that he will make a strong recovery. With as many people as there are praying for him, I’m sure he will.
