Well maybe next time you knowing for a fact should get straight. None of us protested Randall. What does all this matter anyway, it's been almost a week, things have died down, and you choose to start it all over again. You have stood up there with us all season at the beginning of the races and said yourself how difficult of a job it has to be. So now things don't go a certain way, and you come out of the wood work to start bashing. Nice. Anyway, there were many things that we (Kelli, Buffy and I) didn't have any say so on. Not only this last race but also all season long. When someone thinks they see something, they call it. I can assure you that I didn't see much of anything going on during the hobby main, as I was busy scoring and with that many cars, at different spots on the track, we don't have time to watch much of the race. That is where the spotters come in. It was not our choice to DQ anyone that night, it was just left up to us to explain, as Tre was busy getting his ear chewed off in every direction. Doing this job, no matter what it happens to be that night is definitely thankless. That's not why I do it. I don't go to get praise or thanks, because if that were the reason, I would have quit a long time ago. Ask people if scoring is anything they want any part of, and I can bet you that you will get plenty of "NO WAYS." Many questions have been asked all week, and with that being said, everyone needs to understand, things can't be explained to anyone when all of us are busy in other situations. I'm going to address the 55j thing, since it hasn't been explained already. He was told that his 2 laps in hot pits were up and since we were ready to go racing, was told that he couldn't go out. When he went anyway, he was black flagged. Me being used to hot pits at HHS, I thought that he was done for the night. Tre told us to stop scoring, its kinda hard to remember not to write a car as it goes by but we get it straight at the end. However, with all that being said, he was only not to be scored on those laps. Once the yellow came out again, he could have legally come back out, minus the laps that the other cars completed. This is exactly what happened. Later he went in the pits again, did not work on the car in what is considered to be the hot pits and was officially out of the race. Yes, he continued to make laps on the track but was not scored in the finishing position at the end. This was all explained to him. As we were explaining this to him, Randall came up. I couldn't stop explaining to him to tell Randall what was going on. The reasoning for the 7 car to be black flagged was that he was losing pieces of his car (I'm pretty sure this is the right guy). As I have always offered to anyone that thinks we are cheating for drivers that we want to win, it would be our pleasure to move our chairs over and let you sit up there with us and help out. I have learned over the years that I can't please everyone. I come home sometimes with my own very good friends mad at me. Fact is, they all get over it. I mean shoot, Kenny has even been mad at me many times because if something happens to him and no one else sees it, I don't say anything at all. Reason being this exact situation-I don't want anyone to think that I am showing any favortism. There have been many times that I say I'm not going to do this anymore but then what happens? There is no one to score. So what good does that do? You think I really wanna drive to Grants every weekend just to score? No I go because I don't think one person should have to do everything by herself. We are never going to agree on everything that goes on at the track, so we all just have to learn to get along in one way or another. If you think that we cheated for 61, wouldn't it be just as easy to cheat for 68, 51, or 11? Just perposterous! Oh and as I rememeber 75x was DQd for rough driving. This is why people need to ask questions instead of just assuming they know the situation. We have no problem explaining to anyone or showing them our score sheets.
