Attention all complainers of "HOMETOWNING"!

There is a meeting held every year usually on the second sunday of JANUARY. If you think you can do a better job show up then and vote for someone that you think would do better or volunter to do it yourself. New faces are always welcome. ANYONE THAT BOUGHT A MEMBERSHIP CAN ATTEND! SO PLEASE DO SO!

Thanks to all the 2009 officials for everything that was done this year.

I understand that everyone at UCS volunteers their time and energy so that people will have a place to race but I have one question...why volunteer your time and energy if you aren't going to do the job right and fair and square. I was at the race on Saturday and there was a lot o favortism, bad calls and everything was very inconsistent. If you're going to do something (even if it is on a volunteer basis) then you should have the frame of mind to DO IT RIGHT and have the decency to be fair to EVERYONE. All the driver's that were there that night paid their money to race, have fun and most importantly to be TREATED EQUALLY and they were not.

I can't answer why other people volunteer. I can only give you my answer. I volunteer at the track because I DO want it to be a fair place for everybody to race and have fun.
Maybe to you, I'm not doing my job RIGHT, but there are others that think I do my job great. So that's just a matter of opinions. Same thing with bad calls, what may be a bad call to you may not be a bad call to somebody else. We all see things differently. Calls at the track have to be made quickly, we don't get to sit around and think about them. There have been nights I have gone home and thought, maybe I didn't see something right. I have never claimed to be perfect.
"HOMETOWNING" I've heard a lot of that this week. Let me remind you all, that this past Saturdays show was ran by people NOT from Grants.
So lets not act like they were against out of town people, when they were also from out of town.
I really was not going to get on here and argue with you(seems kind of childish, especially since you know my email address and phone number) but since alot of your comments are towards me I will defend myself.

So your saying that all the OFFICIALS and JUDGES are from out if town as well? I just want clarify things. Well if that is the case then YOUR track is getting a very bad rap then. Someone needs to take responsibilty for the actions that were taking and address them. That person KNOWS who they are.
