With the 2009 Banquet just days away, we want to thank the racers, and their family and friends for another great year of action packed racing, and our staff who have supported us for many years. David Swope has the 2010 Sponsorship Packages ready to go, and is hitting the streets early this year, planning our 2010 Oval Racing Season, with hopes of attaining not only more Sponsorships, but providing more fun for the fans! David will soon be announcing our Oval racing dates for 2010, as we coordinate our Road Course and Oval Schedule. Monte Hunter and Scott Lynch are finalizing the 2010 Division rules, and those will be available at the Banquet. We are also making a few changes at the track itself. We, like many other companies, must make business decisions in order to compete in today's market. One of those changes are reducing winter hours and staff. The track will be available for rentals, but we will only have part time employees as needed. In the coming months, myself, Susan Johnson, and possibly other Board Members will be assuming management tasks on a part-time, as needed basis. We are committed to ensuring the Sandia Motorsports Park will continue to succeed in the coming years, and provide the local and regional racing community a home. Once again, we thank everyone and look forward to the 2010 racing season.
