Uranium Capitol Speedway host the return of the Modified and X-Mods! A large field of contenders from the surrounding areas are expected to be in attendance with the closest two dirt tracks being dark this weekend. Yep, Aztec and Albuquerque both have NO DIRT racing so expect many to venture over to the always fast UCS (Exit 79 off I-40) for some great racing action. Trevor Combs and Ronnie Salas have both confirmed that they will be taking their modifieds to join the growing local car count. John Calvert Jr of Rio Rancho holds the points lead in the modifieds while Kenny Wheeler hold a narrow points lead in the X-Mods. With a week off last weekend, the local drivers and fans have been feverishly working on cars getting them ready for this weekend! Pit meeting is at 6pm racing at 7pm SHARP!

This week at UCS the first 120 Mom's will receive a rose.

There will be a Cruiser and Bomber meeting 15 minutes before the pit meeting. All drivers planning on running both divisions must attend.
while the majority of drivers do not confirm they are racing ahead of time, I have personally contacted the following drivers and each of them have confirmed they will be racing at UCS

there are quite a few others that I have heard second hand that will be there but for hte sake of being accurate, I will wait to hear from them personally.
All in all, looks like a good turnout based on what I am hearing.
