This Weekend at Napa Speedway

This Saturday the dirt track at Napa Speedway will be back in action. The modifieds, X-mods, stock cars, cruisers, hornets, and mini sprints will be there. Spectator gates open at 5:00PM and racing starts at 6:30.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate this time.

I got a question, who is supplying the Lighting this year or are you handing Flashlights out at the gate?

This will be my first time to the dirt track after the sun goes down, I have not heard if there have been any changes to the lighting situation. BTW sprints are scheduled to be back June 23rd.

So, Races are at 6:30, if there is no Ahern supplied Lighting, they have to get 4 classes including the waste of time mini-sprints in before the Sun goes down, should be a fun time tonight. If anyone is reading this, a word of warning, the Clay was not beefed-up over the off-season, so run by Walmart on your way out to the track and buy a pair of Dust goggles, when the track dries out and the wind blows in your face, your going to get Sand blasted.

Waste of time mini sprints. You mean mini sprints that turn faster laps than every division other than the sprint cars. There will be temporary lighting like last year there chief. You know what opinions are like right Don?

OK DJ, here is my opinion, your class is very fast, but your class has it's capable of winning cars and almost incapable of winning cars, when your class hits the track, it is an extra intermission, the car that gets in front, stays in front and nobody passes, your class was way more fun to watch at Harvey Caplan Speedway! If the NAPA People flirt with building a smaller track on the inside, then I might hold off on getting a drink re-fill until the real intermission comes along.

Watch closely tonight and lets see how it go's. I see your point from past experience, but this class is getting more capable cars and drivers. By the way, 600cc's is not a go kart. By the way, starting next race at Napa they will run non-wing every race. Should level the playing field.

I have an idea..
Just for fun lets start a list of the NMMRA sprint car drivers that came through the ranks of the mini sprints and Caplin karts.
