Dusty had surgery on his leg and his pelvis today, surgery went fine. He is currently doing great even though he looks like an Erector set has been assembled on his lower half. Outcome from this set of surgeries looks good, back to waiting for his brains swelling to completely go away. Doc's told us his bill will give us a good laugh, thank god for insurance!
Yesterday was a day of rest for Dusty, although he kept us on our toes, his pressures went back up for a time before coming back down with the help of multiple drugs. For now pressures have stabilized, they are higher than what they were, and higher than the doctors want, but as the swelling comes and goes so will his brains pressures. For now all we can do is hope, pray, and wait for the swelling to subside and then we can get more information on his recovery. Our family’s outlook is still positive and we continue to pray for his well being as well as everyone that does roadside work or maintenance. We hope and pray that no one else has to ever go through this rollercoaster that Dusty and everyone who loves him is on. Keep the prayers going, Uncle Duck needs them.
