So Uncle Duck is scheduled for surgery again today, they are going to harvest some good skin and use it to cover the areas on the back of the legs as well as his rear-end. He is becoming more alert as time goes by; of course he is still on a lot of pain meds, so it slows visible progress a bit. Dusty is moving around a lot, and has tried to talk a few times, he moves his lips and opens his mouth but no real words have been made yet. He seems to really understand what is going on and who is around him, which we all think is a good thing. Of course he will still be in the hospital for long time, UNMH then off to a longer care rehab center here in ABQ., possibly else where after for more, we really do not know at this point, the exacts on when or where, as soon as we know I’ll post it.
