UCS Street stocks

Had a blast this weekend! This division has really dwindled down over the past few years, we can have 10 cars one week and four the next. BUT with only 4 cars it is a blast when they are the 4 fastest "stock cars" in the State....

Come to Napaspeedway August 25th and watch our "Paint Trading Street Stocks" out run your fastest in the state cars.

Don, their Street Stocks would, you see UCS is the only track in the state that still runs the Hollywood Hills version of Street Stocks, 4 barrel carbs, weight jacks, racing tires "Hoosier softies", mini-clutches, stroker engines (383cid), racing heim end shocks, and they weigh less by about 150lbs. Little to no contest for our Napa Street Stocks which have the same rules that the UCS Hobby Stocks now share, they amended the rules to allow our guys to run there, again allowing headers and G-60 tires. So yes Don, they do probably have the fastest Street Stocks in the State, an IMCA Stock Car would be the only car to really challenge for that title.

Gary, on paper, the stats tell you that, but watch the Video he provided and tell me any of those 3 cars could keep up with Rick Boelter, I think not, but then again, I'm a Know nothing Armchair QB!

No offense intended, I refer to our Division as the "fastest" due to the rule package we are allowed to run at UCS. On a side note I was fortunate that my car was getting forward bite and would launch out of the corners, on a tacky track the 42D and XX can flat out fly providing tough competition and good racing. I would love to see how our cars would stack up against the IMCA Stock Cars. The boys up in Aztec know how to get it done. Maybe a few of them will come down when UCS has their $500.00 to win race, or better yet maybe Aztec will allow us to run with them in the Cancer Benefit race. It would be fun... and fun is what it is all about...

Or better yet UCS could pay for Insurance so driver's could feel more relaxed racing in Grants.

Don,My son and I would never claim to have the fastest street stock (pro stock)in N.M..
Over the last 20Yrs. we have had some fast cars
and still do. Our mission is to race and have fun,we usually make enough to pay the following
weeks entry fees.As far as napa speedway and
trading paint we can't afford either.
Sorry I don't remember your car # ours is 42D
If you ever feel relaxed we would love to race
with you !

I went to Grants and saw how they rescued an X-Mod that went over the turn 1 Tires, instead of having a Wrecker capable of pulling the car back up onto the track, they tried using an Isuzu Trooper to yank it up but the ended-up just pushing it over the side, then the trully bizarre took place, the Wrecker would not start, so the Isuzu Towed the Wrecker out the turn 4 gate, drove all the way around to the X-Mod just on the other side hill of turn 1 then get this, they hooked the X-Mod to the Wrecker and the Isuzu pulled All 3 vehicles back around to the Track entrance, does this sound like a track that you would be confident in racing at?

Don, I guess you need to read my post again.
All tracks have problems from time to time,including SMS.I think your problem is
you need to get a race car to understand our
situation.Welcome to OUTLAW racing.
